Xhaka: I won’t leave Arsenal until I win something special with the team

Transfer market news

Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka has said he has no plans to leave the club until he wins a serious trophy with him.

“I want my relationship with the fans to be better. I want to be closer to them. We, the players, almost never meet with them, do not communicate. They only look at us for 90 minutes at the stadium – that’s all. They don’t know how we trained before, how we feel, if anyone has problems in the family. Fans don’t know much.
After this season, I have two years left on my contract with Arsenal. I will give everything I can while I play for this club. I have always said this. I didn’t sign the contract just to have fun. I want to achieve something special with this club. Until this happens, I will not leave, ”Xhaka wrote in his column on The Players Tribune website.

Xhaka has been with Arsenal since July 2016. Together with the Gunners, the 29-year-old Swiss won the FA Cup and Super Cup twice.
