Hard or easy, I don’t care. The main thing is that the club made the deal – that’s the most important thing. We’re glad we got a striker very high level; Tyukavin and Grulev showed themselves well in the first part, they are great forwards, but we didn’t have an attacker of exactly this format, and this is an important plus. It didn’t take long for Sandro and me to discuss this transfer.
– His statistics did not bother you?
– It is incorrect to evaluate attackers only by the number of goals. We look deeper, comparing the playing style of a football player and the philosophy of the team. I think Smolov matches and suits her. In general, we are now talking about one of the strongest forwards in the Premier League and a player in the Russian national team.
