The VTB United League has announced the participants of the three-point shooting contest, which will be held as part of the All-Star Game.
This year’s 3-Point Contest will take place after the 1st quarter of the tournament.
Participants: Andrei Vorontsevich (UNICS), Mario Hezonya (UNICS), Billy Baron (Zenit) and Pavel Sergeev (Avtodor).
The competition of snipers will be held according to the classical scheme. Each participant will have one minute to go through five racks, each of which will contain 5 balls (4 regular, 1 – “moneyball”, the value of which is two points; in one of the racks all the balls will be “moneyballs”).
The 2 best snipers go to the final of the competition, which will determine the winner of the competition among themselves. In case of equal results, a tie-break is held, which will last 24 seconds.
The All-Star Game will be held at the VTB Arena on Sunday, February 20, in the format “Stars of Russia” against “Stars of the World”.
