Red Bull driver Max Verstappen spoke about the team’s new car for the 2022 Formula 1 season.
“For me, a lot is still unknown about this car. I’m very interested to see how the car behaves on the track. The most important thing right now is the view from the cockpit with those big tires. I think getting into the apex in some tight corners will be more difficult. Also behind the wheel it feels like the car has a little less grip.
That’s why we have training days. We can get used to the new car, but I think everything should be fine. It will just take a little getting used to the review. I’m looking forward to getting to know the car because I really don’t know how it will behave,” Verstappen was quoted as saying by Racingnews365.
On Wednesday, February 9, Red Bull presented a new car, which was called the RB18.
The first round of the 2022 F1 season will take place from 18 to 20 March in Bahrain. At the end of last season, Red Bull took second place in the Constructors’ Championship, and Verstappen won the championship title in the individual competition.
