Toronto assists hockey player Amirov in the process of treatment

NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly said that Toronto continues to support Salavat Yulaev Ufa striker Rodion Amirov.

“The Toronto Club continues to provide assistance in various forms to the hockey player and his family in the process of treatment,” Daily told TASS.





Earlier it became known that 20-year-old Amirov was diagnosed with a brain tumor. On April 15, 2021, the Russian signed a three-year rookie contract with Toronto. At the moment, the striker is undergoing treatment in Germany.

In the current season of the KHL, he took part in ten games, in which he scored one goal and gave two assists.
