President of the Russian Tennis Federation Shamil Tarpishchev, in a conversation with SE, responded to Ukraine’s request to the International Tennis Federation with a demand to immediately exclude the Russian and Belarus Tennis Federations from the membership of the organization.
“Why contact us from the International Federation? We don’t do stupidity. No one will decide on the exclusion. And in such a skirmish, we only advertise them. This should not be done, ”Tarpischev told SE.
The Ukrainian Tennis Federation (FTU) has addressed the President of the International Tennis Federation (ITF). According to the FTU, Russia and Belarus have no right not only to hold international competitions on their territory, but also to participate in all ITF team and individual tournaments abroad.
