The court will consider a new lawsuit against the organizers of the Miami Grand Prix, according to the Miami Herald.

The Miami Gardens lawsuit, led by Betty Ferguson, a former county commissioner, alleges excessive noise levels that “would cause serious inconvenience and physical harm to residents.”

The decision is due early next week, although District Court Judge Alan Fine is unhappy that it will have to be made on such a short notice.

Formally, the organizers of the “Grand Prix” do not yet have official permission from the city authorities to hold events.
