Arsenal defender Gabriel has revealed why striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang left the London club.
“It’s something that happened between him and the coaching staff, the other players have nothing to do with it.
I said goodbye to him as he left. I hope he will do well at Barcelona,” Gabriela was quoted by the Daily Mail as saying.
The 32-year-old Gabon national team player joined the Catalan club as a free agent, breaking his contract with Arsenal.
Aubameyang’s agreement with the Blue Garnet will run until the summer of 2025. Pierre-Emerick compensation – 100 million euros.
There is a clause in the contract that the player can leave the club on June 30, 2023.
