Tampa and Dallas exchange strikers. The Stars acquired the rights to Russian striker Alexei Lipanov, and the Lightnings acquired the rights to Canadian Ty Fellhaber.
22-year-old Lipanov was selected by Tampa in the 2017 draft in the third round with the 76th overall number. He did not play for the main team, and this season he has only 1 game in the AHL to his credit.
Fellhaber, 23, has also not climbed above the AHL yet. This season he has 2 goals in 14 meetings.
