66-year-old Samokhin is a graduate of the Spartak school. He played for the first team from 1974 to 1981, making 224 appearances. After the end of his career, he worked as a coach at Spartak (1996-2002), as well as at the Spartak Academy named after Fyodor Cherenkov.
