Spartak spoke about the state of health of the veteran red and white Victor Samokhin


“Spartak” on its official website spoke about the state red and white veteran Viktor Samokhin, who end of last year was admitted to the hospital in a serious condition: he had been fighting cancer for a long time, against which a stroke was suspected.

“Fortunately, Viktor Sergeyevich is feeling better today. Our club thanks the fans who took part in the fundraising for the USSR champion in 1979 as part of the red and white. For its part, FC Spartak Moscow provided him with significant financial assistance to purchase the necessary medicines. We wish Viktor Sergeevich a speedy recovery and good health!“, the message says.

66-year-old Samokhin is a graduate of the Spartak school. He played for the first team from 1974 to 1981, making 224 appearances. After the end of his career, he worked as a coach at Spartak (1996-2002), as well as at the Spartak Academy named after Fyodor Cherenkov.
