“Spartak” on its official website spoke about the state red and white veteran Viktor Samokhin, who end of last year was admitted to the hospital in a serious condition: he had been fighting cancer for a long time, against which a stroke was suspected.

For its part, FC Spartak Moscow provided him with significant financial assistance to purchase the necessary medicines. We wish Viktor Sergeevich a speedy recovery and good health!“, the message says.
66-year-old Samokhin is a graduate of the Spartak school. He played for the first team from 1974 to 1981, making 224 appearances. After the end of his career, he worked as a coach at Spartak (1996-2002), as well as at the Spartak Academy named after Fyodor Cherenkov.
