Forward Tornike Shengelia should soon become a Virtus player from Bologna, according to BasketNews.
The 30-year-old Georgian will sign a contract before the end of the 2021/22 season with an option for next year if the club manages to get into the Euroleague.
Shengelia started the season at CSKA, but had previously left the team. Interest in the Georgian was also shown by Valencia and Baskonia.
Another ex-CSKA player Daniel Hackett officially moved to Virtus this week.
