Zenit head coach Sergei Semak spoke about why the club hires Kairat defender Nuraly Alip.
“First of all, this is one of the ways to develop our young players,” Semak emphasized. – In order to release Khotulev and Kravtsov on loan, we had to take other players into the cage. The situation with Alip is absolutely normal for us: we can take him on loan until the end of the season with the right to buy and give Khotulev the opportunity to get match practice, which the club plans to do. The same goes for Kravtsov. We took Adamov to the right-back position, and we will use Lesha Sutormin a little higher, on the more familiar police. In addition, we have players in the attack, where there was not a very large selection. These acquisitions are due to the fact that we must think about the future of Russian players, as well as giving our young talents the opportunity to get practice.
22-year-old Alip has been playing for the main team of Kairat since 2018, at the same time he began to be called up to the Kazakhstan national team.
In the last season of the championship of Kazakhstan, he played 25 matches and made one assist.
