The pilot of the Haas team Mick Schumacher shared his opinion about the arrival of Kevin Magnussen to the team, who replaced Nikita Mazepin.
“It will be useful for me and for the team. Magnussen was part of the team for four years but then missed the season. Everyone in the team likes him, we have a great atmosphere, and we can focus on his results. I can benefit from his experience, he is a good guide for me.
I now have the opportunity to compete with a more experienced partner, to perform under this pressure. And this could be a positive change for me,” Schumacher was quoted as saying by racingnews365.
Following the results of three days of testing in Bahrain, Schumacher showed the second fastest time, Magnussen took 10th place in the summary table based on the results of the test races.
The first round of the 2022 Formula 1 season will take place from 18 to 20 March in Bahrain.
