Sacramento owner Vivek Ranadive is preparing an offer to buy Chelsea, according to Sportico.
According to the source, the Indian businessman needs to finalize some details in order to make an offer to buy the club.
Ranadive, 64, is worth over $700 million.
Chelsea has been owned by Russian businessman Roman Abramovich since 2003. On March 2, Abramovich announced that he was selling the club.
