McLaren have released a statement regarding the condition of the team’s pilot Daniel Ricciardo.
The Australian passed several negative tests in a row, which allows him to leave the quarantine and take part in the Bahrain Grand Prix.
Ricciardo was forced to completely miss Formula 1 pre-season testing in Bahrain after testing positive for the coronavirus. Test runs took place from 10 to 12 March, all this time the car was driven by Ricciardo’s teammate, Lando Norris.
The Bahrain Grand Prix will be held from 18 to 20 March and will be the first round of the 2022 Formula 1 season.
