Red Bull boss Christian Horner reacted to Mercedes’ decision to change the car.
The German team presented a car with significantly reduced side pontoons at the pre-season test in Bahrain.
“The new Mercedes is contrary to the spirit of the rules. We believe that some parts of this car are illegal, ”the Daily Express quoted Horner as saying, citing Auto Motor und Sport.
Formula 1 pre-season tests in Bahrain are held from 10 to 12 March. The first stage of the 2022 season will be held there from 18 to 20 March.
