UNICS head coach Velimir Perasovich shared his opinion about the upcoming match with Nizhny Novgorod in the VTB United League.
“The upcoming match is extremely important for us in the tournament plan. Unlike other clubs participating in the VTB United League, Nizhny Novgorod’s roster has not undergone significant changes compared to the first part of the season. They have retained the game structure, which is their undeniable advantage. Zoran Lukic’s team is well organized, preaching tough and disciplined basketball. I think that the match in Nizhny Novgorod will be one of the most difficult for us in this segment of the championship, ”the team website quotes Perasovich as saying.
The match between the teams will take place on Monday, March 14.
UNICS ranks first in the VTB United League standings with 13 wins in 15 matches.
Nizhny Novgorod is in seventh position, having won five matches out of 11.
