Agent CSKA newcomer Kevin Pangos Obrad Fimich told how the negotiations with his client went.
“CSKA really wanted to sign the player in the summer, but Kevin clearly and correctly made it clear that he was considering options only with NBA clubs,” Obrad Fimich told SE. “Negotiations have not really started yet. Approximately 10-12 days ago, CSKA again turned to Pangos. We started a dialogue that was not easy and not quick. We had to meet the deadline of the Euroleague on the application of new players (February 23). Therefore, until the last moment, the risk remained that an agreement would not work out in the end. But, fortunately, both sides made certain concessions, and Kevin signed a contract with CSKA. He is excited to be back in Europe and will try to bring success to his new team. In Moscow, he will have every opportunity to win titles.
The agent stressed that he could not disclose the financial component of the contract. At the same time, the data of the Greek media about the salary of the playmaker in 6 million dollars for 2.5 years is not true.
– This is incorrect information, – said Obrad Fimich.
Wednesday, February 23 CSKA announced the signing of a contract with Pangos. The 29-year-old Canadian has signed an agreement with the Red-Blues until 2024.
