This goal was the 15th for the 27-year-old Russian this season. The forward updated his personal sniper record, before that his best indicator was 14 goals for Dallas in his debut in the NHL season 2013/14.
Nichushkin played in the NHL for Dallas from 2013 to 2016, in 2018 he returned to the team after two years in CSKA. Since 2019, the Russian has been playing for Colorado. In total, he scored 61 goals in 386 league games.
