Ak Bars announced the appointment of a new head coach of the team.

In the video, the figure of the future coach stands against the background of the image of the three Gagarin Cups. It should be noted that only two coaches won such a number of awards – Oleg Znarok (two with Dynamo and one with SKA) and Zinetula Bilyaletdinov (with Ak Bars).
SE previously reported that Oleg Znarok will soon head the Kazan club and Yuri Babenko will become his assistant.
In April, Ak Bars head coach Dmitry Kvartalnov left his post. Together with him, members of his coaching staff completed their work at the club.
Ak Bars general manager Marat Valiullin said that the team’s new head coach will be appointed on May 1.
