Minnesota Defender fined $30,000 for profanity

Minnesota Blues defenseman Patrick Beverley fined $30,000. According to the NBA statement, the player received such a punishment for “egregious use of profanity” in comments after defeating the Clippers in a play-in match (109:104).

During the post-match press conference, a reporter asked Beverley what he said at the end of the game, standing in front of his former teammates’ bench.





Beverley played for the Clippers from 2017 to 2021.
