Haas pilot Mick Schumacher has named the team’s goal for the 2022 Formula 1 season.
“I think we will be happy if we can consistently get into the second segment and periodically score points. This is not only my personal goal, but also the goal of the whole team. And all of us will need to improve in order to achieve this goal.
This year, all teams will start from scratch due to the new regulations. Perhaps this will give us a slight advantage, because we were the first to start work on the car for the 2022 season. I was in touch with the team almost every day to understand how the car will look and where we need to add. I think we have reason to be optimistic and we can be happy with how things are going,” Schumacher was quoted as saying by Planet F1.
The first stage of the 2022 season will be held from 18 to 20 March in Bahrain. In addition to Schumacher, Russian Nikita Mazepin will play for Haas.
