Medvedev withdrew from the “Masters” in Madrid and Rome

Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev has withdrawn from the clay tournaments of the Masters series in Madrid and Rome.

The tournament will be held in Spain from 1 to 8 May, in the capital of Italy – from 8 to 15 May.





After the removal of Medvedev, the Belarusian Ilya Ivashko got into the main draw of the Masters in Rome, and the Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich-Fokina entered the tournament in Madrid.

The Russian tennis player underwent surgery in early April due to a hernia and will miss one to two months.

Medvedev occupies the second line in the world ranking, the Russian has 13 ATP titles, in 2021 he became the winner of the US Open.
