The pilot of the Haas team Nikita Mazepin opened a karting school for people with cerebral palsy (ICP).

“Today is a special day for me, so I would like to share some good news. They won’t interfere now.





Together with the Gift to an Angel Foundation, Ivan Bakaidov and Primo Karting, they opened an inclusive karting school for children and adults with cerebral palsy and other movement disorders – Formula of Freedom.

I cannot control many things, but I do and will do everything in my power to make this world better and kinder. Movement is life,” Mazepin wrote on Instagram.

Earlier, the media reported that the Russian racer would be suspended from participation in the British Grand Prix.

Also on Tuesday, March 1, the International Automobile Federation announced that Russian and Belarusian racers will compete in international competitions as neutral athletes due to the situation in Ukraine.

The first round of Formula 1 of the 2022 season will be held in Bahrain from 18 to 20 March.
