Midfielder Nemanja Matic has decided to leave Manchester United this summer.
“On reflection, I have decided that this season will be my last at Manchester United. I have already informed the management, coach and teammates of my decision.
It was a great honor and privilege to play for this great club. Many thanks to the fans for their unconditional support,” the Serb wrote on social networks.
The current agreement of the 33-year-old Serb with the Red Devils is calculated until 2023.
The defensive midfielder has made 26 appearances for United this season in all competitions, tallying 2 assists.
Portal Transfermarkt estimates the value of the player at 6 million euros.
