The Haas team was late for the Formula 1 test in Bahrain and was allowed to spend four extra hours on the track. The first of them – on Friday evening – turned out to be triumphant.
On an empty track, which the rivals had already left, Kevin Magnussen brought the best time to the main outsider of last season. He completed the lap in 1 minute and 33.207 seconds. This is more than three tenths better than Carlos Sainz at Ferrari before.
In addition, the Haas team will have the opportunity to work an additional three hours on 12 March.
