Striker Robert Lewandowski intends to leave Bayern in the summer if he does not agree on a contract extension with the club, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The current agreement of the 33-Pole with the club is calculated until 2023. However, the football player wants to conclude a new contract and is extremely unhappy that the Munich club is dragging out the negotiation process.
Under the current contract, Lewandowski receives from Bayern between 23 and 25 million euros before taxes (the amount varies depending on the bonuses). Bayern will not be able to significantly increase the salary of the player, as they set a salary ceiling in the team – no more than 25 million euros per year.
In the 2021/22 season, Lewandowski scored 43 goals and provided 4 assists in 36 games for Bayern.
