Transfer market news

Midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, who now plays for Real Madrid, could have ended up at PSG, but the transfer was blocked by the sporting director of the Parisians, Leonardo, according to Foot Mercato.

The promising midfielder was close to joining PSG from Rennes two years ago, but Leonardo blocked the deal after he didn’t like the player’s agent.

In the summer of 2021, Camavinga joined Real Madrid. The transfer cost the Madrid club 31 million euros.

This season, the 19-year-old Frenchman has played 32 matches for the “creamy” in all competitions, scoring 2 goals. The midfielder’s contract with Real Madrid runs until 2027.
