Ferrari pilot Charles Leclerc shared his expectations for the upcoming Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix.
“I can imagine how the fans will welcome us at Imola given how we started the season, but I don’t want to think too much about it because there are still many stages ahead. Of course, it’s nice to lead the championship. A 34-point lead is always good, but I don’t want to focus on the title fight.
The home stage in Imola should be treated in the same way as the previous three. It is very important not to take on pressure beyond measure and not to overdo it. Our team has been working great since the beginning of the season, we must continue to do our job, as before, ”Leclerc quoted Autosport as saying.
Leclerc leads the Formula 1 drivers’ standings with 71 points after three races. Ferrari are first in the Constructors’ Championship with 104 points.
The Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix will take place from 22 to 24 April.
