Lakers forward Anthony Davis was injured in the NBA regular season game against Utah.
The 28-year-old American injured his right ankle after a bad landing on Jazz center Rudy Gobert’s leg. The basketball player was able to leave the site only with outside help.
According to ESPN insider Adrian Wojnarowski, Lakers doctors sent Davis for an x-ray to determine the extent of the injury. Shams Charania, a journalist for The Athletic, claims that, following the results of the examination, the striker was diagnosed with a sprain. More specific information about the damage and recovery timeline will have to come after the NBA All-Star Game, which will take place on the night of February 20-21.
