As part of the Canucks, Russian forward Andrey Kuzmenko scored a double and an assist. Previously, the 26-year-old Russian played for SKA and CSKA in the KHL.
The 2022/23 season starts on October 7 and will be the 106th in league history. The Canucks will play Edmonton (October 13) in the opening game, and Seattle will face Anaheim (October 13).
