“It’s all about the little things.” David on defeat to Chelsea

Lille striker Jonathan David, after losing to Chelsea (1:2) in the second leg of the 1/8 finals of the Champions League, noted that the Great Danes have no problems with motivation. The French team hopes to play again in the main European Cup next season.

“Everything was decided by the little things. We played great in the first half, and just before the break they converted their only chance. So yes, it was a good match, but we lost. But we have no problems with motivation, and we will do our best to play in European competition again next season. Everyone dreams of playing in such matches, ”David is quoted by the UEFA press service.

In the first match, the Blues won 2-0, so Chelsea advanced to the quarter-finals. The opponent will be known after the draw, which will take place on March 18.
