Rangers goalie Igor Shesterkin commented on the victory in the NHL regular season match against Washington (4:1).
“It annoys me a little that I missed at the end of the match. But in fact, it doesn’t matter whether it’s a shutout or not, ”the official NHL website quotes Shesterkin as saying.
Shesterkin saved 36 out of 37 shots on goal.
After this game, the Rangers are fourth in the Eastern Conference with 71 points, Washington is in seventh place with 65 points.
