CSKA head coach Dimitris Itoudis commented on the news that his assistant Andreas Pistiolis headed Turkish Galatasaray.
“I personally and everyone at the club are happy that Andreas had this opportunity. Galatasaray general manager Turgay Zeitingez is a longtime friend of ours, so I’m glad they came to an agreement. Andreas has been an important part of our success over the past eight years, good luck and health to him and his family. I am more than convinced that Andreas has a glorious career ahead of him, ”CSKA website quoted Itoudis as saying.
At Galatasaray, Pistiolis will replace Turkish coach Ekrem Memnun, who has been working with the team since the start of this season.
