Red Bull adviser Helmut Marko shared his opinion on the state in which the team is approaching the start of the new Formula 1 season.
“We have managed to get the galloping problem under control. We are completely satisfied with the new machine and all the updates. Now it remains to wait for qualification on Saturday, when everyone will turn on their engines at full power and reveal all their cards.
We are glad that with all the updates our car works as it should work according to the new rules! I repeat, we are not looking at our rivals and are focused on being in the first roles next weekend,” Marco quoted racingnews365 as saying.
Also, the Red Bull adviser spoke about the pilot of the team Max Verstappen.
“For Verstappen, nothing matters but the title, you can be sure of that. He achieved his life goal last year, but he wants to enjoy this feeling in the years to come. Max will only get faster. He is at the best age for a rider,” added Marco.
The first stage of the 2022 Formula season will take place from 18 to 20 March in Bahrain.
