Russell will make his debut for Mercedes in the 2022 season, having previously played for Williams for three years. The Briton took the place of Valtteri Bottas, who from this year will represent Alfa Romeo.
The first stage of the 2022 season will be held from 18 to 20 March in Bahrain.
