The head of the Tula “Arsenal” Guram Adzhoev, who is at the team’s training in Turkey, spoke about the preparations for the spring part of the season.
– The players had a good, intensive training the day before. All the players at the training camp trained. Yes, there are injured, someone is recovering, someone was running in circles, someone was working out in the gym, but the vast majority worked in the general group. On Saturday we have two friendly matches with clubs from Denmark and Bosnia. After that, the players will receive three days off, followed by a third training camp.
– Are any works already being carried out in Tula for the start of the spring part of the championship?
– Yes. On the main arena, as well as on the base, the heating of the main field is already turned on, which, let me remind you, we completely re-made last summer. It’s new. By the way, few people know, but our field at the Central Stadium remains the only natural of all the stadiums where RPL matches are played this season. There is one artificial field, most clubs have so-called stitched lawns, when artificial fibers are sewn into natural grass, and our field is 100% natural. Very soon we will begin work on the construction of another arena on the territory of the “Central”. It will be a small full-fledged stadium with lighting, parking spaces, stands for 1500 seats and a heated field. The youth team of Arsenal, as well as the teams of our Academy, will play their home matches there. This project has already passed all approvals.
