Aston Villa head coach Steven Gerrard wants a face-to-face meeting with Atlético Madrid striker Luis Suarez. He wants to convince the 35-year-old Uruguayan to move to an English club in the summer, according to The Athletic.
The current agreement between Suarez and Madrid is calculated until the end of the current season.
The striker has made 35 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring 11 goals and 3 assists.
Note that Gerrad and Suarez played together for several years when they defended the colors of Liverpool.
