In 2022, Formula 1 will change the rule for choosing tires per race, according to Motorsport journalist Roberto Kinquero.
Previously, the top ten pilots based on the results of the qualification had to start in the Sunday race on the rubber on which the riders passed from the second to the third segment.
At the last meeting of the strategic group “F-1” it was decided to cancel this rule. Now the participants will be able to choose any set of tires that will seem to them the most optimal for starting the race.
