Firmino equals Gerrard in Champions League goals for Liverpool

Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino scored twice in the second leg of the 1/4 finals of the Champions League against Benfica (3:3).

Thanks to this, the Brazilian became the fourth player in the history of Merseysiders with 20 or more goals in the Champions League.





Firmino has caught up with Steven Gerrard and is tied with him for third place in the list of top scorers in the history of Liverpool in the Champions League – both with 21 goals.

The record belongs to Mohamed Salah, who scored 33 goals in the Champions League while playing for Liverpool.
