Ferdinand was impressed by Vinicius’s performance on Real Madrid’s second goal

Former England defender Rio Ferdinand, after Reaa’s victory over Chelsea on aggregate in the 1/4 finals of the Champions League, appreciated the game of striker Vinicius Junior. The Brazilian made an assist as his team scored the second goal.

“Many players in the place of Vinicius Junior would choose the easiest option: send the ball into the penalty area. However, he showed composure and patience as a young player. It was the only moment he had, but he decided it, ”Ferdinand was quoted as saying by the UEFA press service.

On aggregate, the Madrid team won with a score of 5:4 and reached the semi-finals of the Champions League. The rival of Real Madrid in the 1/2 finals will be the winner of the confrontation between Manchester City and Atlético Madrid (the first match – 1: 0).
