On February 28, the Euroleague will announce an alternative country in which Russian clubs will play, TASS reports with reference to the press service of the Euroleague.
“Tomorrow there will be a meeting of the Euroleague Board of Shareholders, which will discuss the topic of holding upcoming matches of Russian teams, and it is expected that an alternative country will be announced in which the games of the teams of the Russian Federation will be held,” the press service said.
Earlier, the match of the 26th round of the regular championship of the Euroleague Basketball between Russian CSKA and Spanish “Barcelona” was postponed. The meeting was to be held on February 27 in Moscow. The Euroleague also postponed matches Bayern (Germany) – CSKA, Baskonia (Spain) – UNICS (both on February 24) and Zenit – Barcelona (February 25).
