Elanga scores Manchester United’s 500th Champions League goal

Manchester United played a draw with Atlético Madrid in the first leg of the 1/8 finals of the Champions League – 1:1. Anthony Elanga scored in the 80th minute for the English team.

Manchester United have become the fourth team to reach the 500-goal mark in Champions League history, according to Opta.

Only Real Madrid (1001), Bayern Munich (760) and Barcelona (624) have more goals in the main European competition.

The return leg will take place in England on 15 March. The meeting starts at 23:00 Moscow time.
