Riga “Dinamo” on February 11 terminated the contract with two defenders. The team was left by Karlis Chukste and Miks Tumanov, the club’s website reports.
This season, 24-year-old Chukste made his debut in the KHL. He made 2 assists in 34 matches.
20-year-old Tumnova played 6 games for the first team.
Earlier, the Kontinental Hockey League ended the regular season ahead of schedule. An official statement about this was published on February 5 on the KHL website. Teams that made it to the playoffs will return to the ice this season.
