Doc Rivers Says He’s Not a Candidate for Lakers Head Coach

Philadelphia Caps head coach Doc Rivers has reacted to reports that he is one of the candidates to replace Frank Vogel on the Lakers.

“This whole Frank Vogel thing is so unfair. Would you like it if your positions and positions were discussed every day? Even if someone wants to see you at home, it’s wrong. I don’t like it at all. But I can’t help it. I’m not a candidate for the Lakers position. I have a job, it suits me completely, ”Rivers quotes Silver Screen and Roll.

Earlier, the Lakers fired Vogel from the post of head coach of the team. He has led the Lakers since 2019. At the head of the club, the 48-year-old specialist became the champion of the NBA season 2020.

The Lakers finished the season in 11th place with 33 wins in 82 games. The team from Los Angeles did not get into the playoffs following the results of the regular season.
