Croatian tennis player Borna Coric, who plans to return to the court after an injury at the tournament in Indian Wells, commented on the decision of world number one Novak Djokovic not to be vaccinated against coronavirus.
“He is his own boss and can do what he wants. I am vaccinated, but I have nothing to add… This is his decision and I respect him. I didn’t surprise him. We all know how mentally strong Novak is. He will not give up because of the pressure, ”Tennis Channel quotes the Croatian.
Coric also noted that in most Grand Slam tournaments, Djokovic will remain the main favorite.
“He has the body of a 25-year-old boy. And healthy, and not the same as mine, ”coric joked.
