Christian Horner: ‘Red Bull’s pace looked good both short and long distance’

Red Bull director Christian Horner spoke about the team’s performance on the first day of the Bahrain Grand Prix.

“It was a positive day for us,” Horner was quoted as saying by Sky Sport. – Everything went well both during the day, in hot weather, and in the evening, the pace on short and long races was decent. But, of course, you need to take into account the different amount of fuel in the tanks and the difference in engine operating modes, there are many nuances, but we are quite satisfied with today.”





According to the results of the first practice of Formula 1, the pilot of Red Bull Max Verstappen showed the fifth result, and the second driver Sergi Perez came tenth.

In the second free practice session, Verstappen was first, and Perez seventh.

The third practice will take place on March 19 at 15:00 Moscow time. On the same day at 18:00 qualifying will begin.
