Brier named special assistant to general manager of Philadelphia

Philadelphia on the official website announced that former team player Daniel Brier has been appointed as a special assistant to the general manager of the club.





He will assist Fliers President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Chuck Fletcher.

Since 2017, Brier has been with the Maine Mariners in the East Coast League (ECHL). Since the 2019/20 season, he has served as the club’s general manager.

In the NHL, the Canadian played 973 matches and scored 696 (307 + 389) points.
