Boston have signed a contract with a young forward

Boston have signed forward Mark McLaughlin to a rookie contract, according to the club’s website. The agreement with the 22-year-old American is for two years.





Prior to this, the forward was not drafted by any club in the National Hockey League.

He previously played for Boston College, where he was team captain. In 33 games this season in the NCAA, he scored 32 (21 goals + 11) points.

McLaughlin also traveled as part of the US team to the Beijing Olympics, where he played 2 matches.
