Benfica goalkeeper Mile Svilar has decided to leave the club on a free transfer in the summer of 2022, according to journalist Nicolo Schira.
According to the source, the 22-year-old Serb is in talks with Roma and is close to signing a contract with the Italian club for 4 years with the option of extending for another year. The player’s agent Vlado Lemic is expected to meet with representatives of the Romans in the coming days to broker a deal.
In the 2021/22 season, Svilar took part in 11 matches of the Benfica reserve team and conceded 12 goals, playing 4 matches to zero.
